If there is a tie or no one gets a two, prize pot is carried over into the following week. (Past year's deuce pots have reached over $1000!)

On-Course Competitions: "Score doesn't matter" therefore we have several on-course competitions with many prizes to be won! Thanks to our local businesses and sponsors, we exchange advertising throughout the evening for prizes, handed out weekly. $10 per person for entry into all competitions.

Weekly Gift Card Draw: Everyone who enters is eligible to win a GolfBC Gift Card - the more people who enter, the higher the value! $6 per person.

Draw Prizes: Once again keeping the mantra that score doesn't matter - all prizes (excluding on-course competitions) are by draw! Weekly draws for your chance to win golf balls, hats, shirts, golf bags, golf clubs, rounds of golf, and more! No additional entry fee required.

Wednesday Junior Night
The Wednesday Night Junior program is designed to be the next step after our Junior lesson clinics. To maximize everyone’s enjoyment, prior golf experience is required. Juniors who have already been introduced to the game will head out onto the course to enjoy a relaxed, fun atmosphere where they can learn on-course etiquette and play full length golf holes in a “Texas Scramble” format. Includes:

  • Golf clinic
  • Two-hours of golf
  • Appetizers
  • Prizes!
$25 per junior ($8.50 for Arbutus Ridge Junior members)
Program Itinerary:

  • 3:30 - 4:00pm | Arrival & Clinic
One of our instructors will organize everyone on either the practice facility or putting green to go over the rules for the day, as well as some important on-course etiquette, fun games and a few tips on improving their technique.
  • 4:00 - 6:00pm | Golf
Kids will be organized into groups and shuttled out to different starting holes to play in a team “Texas Scramble” format, where each kid hits a shot, they pick the best one and all players play their second shot from that spot until someone holes a putt on the green. In this format, everyone that plays in the same group is on the same team which helps increase the fun factor. We often have some adult volunteers on the course to help the kids along and offer some friendly advice when needed.
  • 6:00 - 7:00pm | Appies, Prizes and Parent Pick-up
At 6:00pm everyone meets in our banquet room for a few appetizers, drinks and a prizes. We endeavor to make sure that every kid leaves with a prize as a reward for them coming out to play.
