The Village Centre is equipped with workshops and craft facilities as well as seminar and meeting rooms, for use by all residents. You can tackle that woodworking project, work on your boat or RV, fire your own ceramic creations, learn more about financial planning, or take a computer course. It's all part of the Arbutus Ridge way of life.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, a full-time director coordinates activities and facilities to accommodate the needs and wishes of all residents.

The Village Centre provides facilities such as a heated pool and swirlpool and programs to help keep you fit and healthy.

There’s a community dock and boat launching facility for use by all the residents. Boats, trailers and recreational vehicles can be kept in the secure parking area. You'll love exploring the surrounding waters renowned by boaters worldwide.

Nearby, freshwater fishing in lakes and streams, horseback riding, hiking in provincial parks, and skiing at Mount Washington can all give the body a great workout. Equally close at hand are cultural activities such as theatre, dance, music and art shows to exercise the mind.

Several churches are located within a few minutes of Arbutus Ridge. Service clubs and local organizations are many and cater to all sorts of special interests. Some arrange group tours or day excursions to take in local festivals or just see the sights.
